Elena Cîndea

Allow us to introduce Elena (Nuți) Cîndea – a host in the village of Criș, near Sighișoara (MS).

A few years ago, Elena returned with her husband to Criș, the beautiful village where she spent her childhood holidays. The fairytale landscapes, the peace and quiet, Bethlen Castle, and the fact that the village is included on the Via Transilvanica route, inspired her to consider a new beginning.

This is how the desire to offer accommodation to tourists who choose to discover these authentic places was born. For now, it is still at the idea stage, but with a clear outline — Elena will make available a room with a double bed and bathroom – a warm start in a welcoming home.

The village of Criș is a place with deep roots and roads that take you further. Here you will find one of the Via Transilvanica milestones, the “Camino of Romania”, a route that is not only about travel, but also about self-discovery.

Elena does not offer accommodation alone – she offers experiences. She takes you to the family’s flock, to the lambs, takes you to Bethlen Castle, to Mălâncrav, to Viscri. And if you would like to reach Sighișoara, it is only 20 minutes from Criș.

She will certainly be a warm host, guaranteed.
